Two area musical artists that are on the rise will be performing at the 2009 Picnic on the Park.

Jake Muck is a teen performer  from the Houston area.  He's a singer, dancer, songwriter, actor and model.  He has five original songs coming out in 2009 and his album should be coming out on iTunes soon.

He has appeared in films, tv shows and commercials including Kings of Appletown with Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Will with Vanessa Hudgens and Friday Night Lights.  He also performs with the hip hop dancers at Planet Funk.  He was the grand prize winner of the Kidzbop National Talent Search and appeared in the music video, "The Great Escape," released in January 2008. He is also part of the teen duo, NIck & Jake, and co-stars in the original online web series titled What Up with Nick and Jake.
