The Easter Bunny will be hopping into town just in time for the expanded Picnic on the Park event this spring.  A Ladies Luncheon and Easter Bonnet Contest will be held at the Nathaniel Center Wednesday, March 12, followed by the annual egg hunt, community fair and newly added coloring contest and “Kingwood Idol” karaoke competition Saturday, March 22 at Kingwood Town Center Park. 

Ladies Luncheon Vendor Status 

We have closed applications for vendor tables at the Ladies Luncheon.  If you have already submitted an application, it is currently under review.

Festival Vendor Status

Applications are still being accepted for vendors and exhibitors at the Picnic on the Park festival.  The following categories are currently closed:

• Jewelry
• Candles
• Children's Accessories:  If you have a very unique item, please contact us and we will take it under consideration.
• Sand Art

Only one vendor per direct sales company is allowed, please check the vendor list to see if your company is already represented.

Food:  Openings are available for a kettle corn and Italian Ice vendor.  All other food vendor types are closed.

Donning flowered visors were winners of the judges’ award for Best Group

The return of green grass, flowers bursting with color and ladies styling their Easter bonnets are just a few signs that spring is just around the corner.  The third annual Picnic on the Park Ladies Luncheon and Easter Bonnet Contest is the perfect opportunity to show off that bonnet and roll in the season of nature’s rebirth.  This year’s luncheon will take place 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at the Nathaniel Center.

The dates have been chosen for the 2008 Picnic on the Park events.

The Picnic on the Park Festival will be held again the day before Easter on Saturday, March 22nd, and 10 am to 4 pm.

The Ladies Luncheon and Easter Bonnet Contest will be held on Wednesday, March 12th, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
