 Two area musical artists that are on the rise will be performing at the 2009 Picnic on the Park.
Jake Muck is a teen performer from the Houston area. He's a singer, dancer, songwriter, actor and model. He has five original songs coming out in 2009 and his album should be coming out on iTunes soon.
He has appeared in films, tv shows and commercials including Kings of Appletown with Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Will with Vanessa Hudgens and Friday Night Lights. He also performs with the hip hop dancers at Planet Funk. He was the grand prize winner of the Kidzbop National Talent Search and appeared in the music video, "The Great Escape," released in January 2008. He is also part of the teen duo, NIck & Jake, and co-stars in the original online web series titled What Up with Nick and Jake.

 Jessica Ferguson is a pop singer from the Houston area whose newest single is on the soundtrack of Paul Blart Mall Cop. ww.myspace.com/jessicafergie101

Kingwood , TX: Fortunately, no winter lasts forever and no spring skips its turn. Picnic on the Park events are the perfect way to celebrate the return of spring! A Ladies Luncheon & Easter Bonnet Contest will be held at the Houston Airport Marriott Wednesday, April 1, followed by the Picnic on the Park Festival on Saturday, April 11 at the Kingwood Town Center .
“Proceeds from both events will benefit Village Learning & Achievement Center – our fifth year to support this local charity,” says event committee member Carla Alvarez of Legacy Marketing Services. “Donations and participation by area businesses make this event successful and fun for everyone in our community while supporting this vital charity’s programs, which reach over 170 individuals with disabilities right here in our community.”

The Easter
Bunny will be hopping into town just in time for the expanded Picnic on the
Park event this spring. A Ladies
Luncheon and Easter Bonnet Contest will be held at the Nathaniel Center
Wednesday, March 12, followed by the annual egg hunt, community fair and newly
added coloring contest and “Kingwood Idol” karaoke competition Saturday, March
22 at Kingwood Town Center Park.

Ladies Luncheon Vendor Status
We have closed applications for vendor tables at the Ladies Luncheon. If you have already submitted an application, it is currently under review.
Festival Vendor Status
Applications are still being accepted for vendors and exhibitors at the Picnic on the Park festival. The following categories are currently closed:
- Jewelry
- Candles
- Children's Accessories: If you have a very unique item, please contact us and we will take it under consideration.
- Sand Art
Only one vendor per direct sales company is allowed, please check the vendor list to see if your company is already represented.
Food: Openings are available for a kettle corn and Italian Ice vendor. All other food vendor types are closed.
